Help please..My sister's birthday.... my RD

My sister's birthday is the day before my wedding, therefore it will be her birthday at my rehearsal dinner. She is turning 12 (yes, big age difference)

The restaurant won't let us bring a cake in for her. Any ideas on how I can acknowledge her birthday at the dinner?

Does anyone know anything about create-a-cookie or any of those things???

I atleast want an excuse to sing to her and have her blow out her candle, etc!

I would get a cake anyone and just walk in with it and keep it hidden in the back by your stuff and then bring it out when you want to sing. At that point, what are they going to do, kick you out? Just don't cut and serve it, bring it home to eat!!

We aren't going home. She lives in NJ, and we are staying at a hotel that night.

Will the restaurant put a candle in whatever kind of dessert they have?

Most places have something they do for birthdays

ETA: That so sweet that you aretryignto do something.

Birthdays are so important when you are 12!

Even better, bring it back to the hotel and eat it. Hotels never have food!! You and your little sis could sit and eat some cake together the night before your wedding, it would be special!!

Yes, that is my last resort. I sorta wanted to do something special for her, with her name on it or something, I feel badly that we are taking her 'day' away from her with all the wedding fuss.

Can you bring in balloons? sometimes you can get one with names or at least a 12.
Or depending on what the dessert is, can they put in those #candles if you provide them? You can get them in the supermarket.

is there a way you could have the hotel room decorated for her by the time you get home from the Rd??
that would be really sweet and then have a cake there
