I would like to get my FH an engagement gift. . .did any of you give a gift after he proposed? Not sure. . .any ideas?

i didn't and i didn't even think about it until i heard other people talking about it LOL i stink he has never heard of it either so i was in the clear - so to make up for it i am getting him a three day weekend to mohegan sun for his bday - its coming up this week - like 10 months after he proposed but its the thought that counts right?

yeah dont worry about it!! its a personal choice - some people do it and some people are clueless like US!
as for a WEDDING gift - he thought only the bride got them! i didnt know about those either until my cousin got married last year. . . we have decided not to do that either since we PROBABLY won't be able to afford it

Its totally your choice, but if u want ideas i got FH an engagement gift...i got him a new laptop with an ipod...he was totally surprised and soooo happy so it was definitely worth it =)
he didnt have any idea some ppl did that-they're more clueless than us so if u decide not to he prob wont noticee lol

I would love to get fh something nice..Im going to surprise him just like he surprised me!! Maybe 6 months after our engagement!!! I was thinking more like taking him out somewhere really nice and different for dinner and a play in nyc and maybe a carriage ride! Something romantic and then give him a little present. Maybe a nice watch.
