In our programs, I'm going to have a poem and list all of our grandparents who have passed away. Which do you find to be more appropriate...
Jane Smith, bride's grandmother
or
Jane Smith, Deborah's grandmother
I know this is just a small detail, but I keep going back and forth.
Thanks (ahead of time) for your opinions!

Re: HELP - program question
I really like this idea, and I think either way will be beautiful.
Although I do like 'bride's grandmother' a bit better just for visual purposes. Since you'll have the name before it, her name will stand out more if there isn't another name right after almost blending into it.
If you want to do your name, maybe separate with a dash instead of a comma.
Hope that makes sense!

Re: HELP - program question
I am having a similar issue about naming people in the programs, and I still don't know what I am going to do. I think having it say 'the bride's' sounds better, but then I feel like 'your name...' is more personal. I am leaning more towards 'the bride's...' Good Luck!
