Help! Quesitons about serving!

I am planing on making 2 main cources for the dinner party I am hosting this saturday. My original plan was a grilled fish dish and beef stew for those who are not into seafood. BUT yesterday I was thinking: don't you need ot serve beef stew in a soup bowl? You can't really use regular dinner plate, right? So if people want to try both diches they will need to have two plates by their side, which could be inconveniend for them. Should I just make something else instead of the stew? I am confused!
