It didn't occur to me to send an invitation to the priest who is doing our ceremony. My Mom suggested that I send an invitation but my RSVP date is May 27th and I think it will look funny. Should I extend an invitation in person or just send it out?

I would send it now, unless you are going to se him this week,b ut still bring it with you if you are going to see him, don't just verbally invite him.
