HELP! RD Costs - Mineola/williston park/westbury/NHP areas

Does anyone know the cost of a rehearsal dinner for restaurants in these areas? Some of the places we are considering are:

Papa razzi
Davenport press
St. James
Piccolo Bussolo

Any other recommendations are welcome. We need to find something reasonably priced!

I don't know anything about the prices, but Piccola Bussola's food is great. My cousin had her RD there several years ago and it was GREAT!

Also, the RiverBay (on Willis Ave.) is great if you like seafood... might be a bit pricey though.

My parents just had my brother's RD last night and it was about $600-680 at Uncle Bacala's. The food was great.

WOW - that's great! How many people did they have? Do you know if that included beer, wine and soda?

The regular Piccolo's (smaller place further east on Jericho tpke in Mineola) is 28 pp and they give you so much.

Not sure of pricing but my shower was at Sazzios in NHP..it's on Hillside next to the skating rink...great food & nice inside.

The Inn at NHP is another idea...again no idea of pricing...had dinner back there w/ MIL & my parents & liked it alot

i am not sure of the price but Stella's Ristorante on Jericho Tpke (Floral Park border NHP) has excellent italian food.. they are reasonable.

we always have family functions there.

I don't know the price offhand, but my bridal shower was at the Davenport Press. They did a very nice job. I doubt it was terribly expensive and the food was good. Just call and they will give you an idea of the pricing.

I have been to the Davenport Press for a RD (it was great! we had the private room up stairs) unfortunatly I do not know what they paid but I can tell you it probably wasn't to much knowing the bride and groom. I have been to Papa Razzi for the same brides shower and I believe it weas about $25 or so a person. Not insane at all. and the food was good!

Also check out Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City (their catering prices are on their web site). They throw an amazing party (I had our RD there and a 40th anniversary party for my parents) and there are packages to suit all budgets. It's very inexpensive if you do beer, wine, soda instead of open bar. (Open bar was a must for us, though)
