HELP!!! RD near Franklin Square...

Does anybody have ideas for a place to have the RD in or near Franklin Square? Actually the rehearsal is in Valley Stream so I was looking for a place nearby...RVC? Franklin Square? that won't be too expensive.

How about Carmela on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square. they have really good food

Also, Dodici in RVC

Filomena's on Hempstead Tpke., Buon Giorno's in Lybrook, New Hyde Park Inn on Jericho Tpke., Umberto's on Jericho Tpke., Orchid in Garden City, Pompeii, not sure where it is, Hope this helps!

So far I've called Filomena's, Shackleton's, King Umberto's and FMIL called Cinelli's. Cinelli's offered the best prices. (FILs have had a party there before and the food was pretty good. and you pretty much get the whole restaurant to yourself.

Have you ever heard of Golides? its in VS. Food is great! prices cant be beat! we had our RD there. or try King Umbertos in Franklin Square my shower was there! very nice!

I had mine at Mezzanote Cafe in Hewlett--
Very reasonably priced and yummy!
We had our own room on the lower level with restrooms.
ETA: It's where Matteo's used to be.

The Lucky Duck on Nassau Blvd in Garden City South is really good.....Carmella's is excellent.....
Cinelli's is a good choice too....

I really like the food at Carmelas on Hempsted Hurnpike in Franklin Square. Cinellis is not bad either.

Shackletons has great food, so does King Umbertos. Shackletons has a private room and King Umbertos bought a catering hall down the block called Villa Umbertos

I was going to mention the same 2 places!!!! I love Carmella's on Hempstead Turnpike. It would be very nice for a rehearsal dinner.

Umberto's on Hempstead Tpke is not far from there and they have AMAZING food!!!

We had our RD at Carmela's - it was fantastic - I believe they start at $29. Also, there is Clydesdale's right down the street that had some nice packages as well.
