HELP - re: getting pics at Dowling

I know u need to be an alumni (FH is) but who do we ask, our wedding is November 20th - where on the campus would be want to be - what sort of info do we need to provide -

having been married at Vanderbilt, I would suggest taking pics behind the mansion by the water.
but dont know who to contact.

I went to Dowling. Besides the fact that I hated it, I would really think about where you were going to take the pictures there. Most of the 'grass' is goose-poop. The sidewalks were covered in it too at certain times of the year.

I'd hate to ruin my dress.

I called a couple of weeks ago about this because I'm having trouble finding and indoor place in the winter we like for pictures. I beleive I spoke with Rosemarie in the Catering and Special events department at ex 3377. Yes, you have to be an alumni. Any school event or paying event that is there takes precendence over you. You can't exactly 'book' the date. You can call like a month before and ask if they still have room and they'll let you know. You can use the mansion grounds, foyer, hunt room and ballroom. There is a $100 donation. She told me to call back Jan 1st and I could come take a look around any time I wanted.
