why 1 month in advance??? i was thinkgin april 5th.. 20 day b4 my wedding.. i need to do a final count 1 week b4? right?
I would do March 15th this gives you time to get all cards in and do your final count AND if you have to send out more Invites, you still have time to do this. Also, giving the rude people that will send it in late time to make the count.
My wedding is the 9th and we want RSVPs in by the 1st of September jus to be safe

I won them Which I am thrilled about bc we are having an adult only recpetion so there shouldn't be any confusion
my friend just got back a personalized rsvp where the ppl WROTE IN their kids name! the nerve!

ppl for my shower wrote in their kids names. and not to sound like a jerk.. ok i am a jerk but its cute...
ppl not only added their kids name..but they only came with 1 gift. i didnt want the kids to eat a kids meal...so i was silly for counting them as adults...
i learned my lesson..
kids = kids meals cuz ppl are CHEAP!
so regardless if i give ppl the option to write how many ppl they are bringing, they will do it anyway

Someone else on another board made this mention that not only do you need time to track down the people who don't RSVP. But also to do your seating charts! And if you don't know who's coming yet you can't really start 'tagging' your favors either. Give yourself more time because the last month has got to be crazy!
We're actually going with something more fun, casual and silly. I think right now it's at Yes, wouldn't miss it for the world No, We have something utterly boring to do that day.
