HELP!!! Real quick...

HELP!!! Real quick...

I'm going on a job interview in 2 hours, and I need help with the usual questions they ask you. I thought I was prepared, but apparently not! My chances of getting this job aren't as good as they could be because 1 other person applying for this position already works within the company so my interview has to go great! Now I will be applying for an office position at Duke University (big company), compared to where I work now with only 2 of us in the office. Now I learned of this position because my DH has worked at Duke for over 3 years, so the person I'm interviewing with told my DH about the position. We really need me to get this job, so if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it!

How would you respond to these questions? Now I'm looking for general answers...

Why do you want to work here?

Why should we hire you?

Why are you leaving your current position? (I enjoy working where I am, but this position pays more, FYI)?

What are your expectations?

If you could come up with any other questions that may help, please mention them!

Thanks!

The question we all hate:

Where do you want to be in 5 years?

What skills can you bring to the position?

Do you consider yourself a team player?

Good luck!

As for some general answers -
tell them that you'd prefer to work in a bigger office, there's more chance for interaction with co-workers, etc. I'm guessing since it's Duke you're on campus so maybe say that you enjoy the energy of a college campus. You feel like you can help make a difference, etc.

Mention your strengths. If they ask why you are leaving just say that you feel a bigger company offers more potential to you, you can more of an asset to Duke than your present company. Say you're looking for new challenges and your present job isn't giving you that

You can mention that you are looking to advance in your career, and your current position doesnt allow you too, or something like that.
