Hey, Does anyone know of a good restaurant in or around Sayville to have a rehearsal dinner?? We have looked at 2 places so far - La Tavola & 21 Main. They are very nice, but both will end up being over $1000 for 30 people. We would like to do it for under that if possible. Any suggestions welcome! I know there is a restaurant at the Holiday Inn in Islip too, but I don't know how good that is.

I know it's not Sayville, but a friend of ours just opened a restaurant in Patchogue- it's called Public House. Very nice and the food is wonderful. Also in Patchogue are Brickhouse Brewery (private room upstairs, reasonable prices), The Oar (delish food, waterside location, approx. $30 p/p), and then theres Blue in Blue Point... Good luck!

great list...we had ours at the riverview and it was phenomenal. We called calfe joelle but they couldnt accomodate 30 people. Just thought I'd give ya a heads up!

What about oystermans or cullhouse in Sayville? How good is the food there? No way we can try every restaurant out ourselves. We live in Great Neck. Will look at the Riverview & Blue though. Thanks for all the replies - will keep you posted.

both of those places have great food..i think oystermans would be a better choice for a dinner because the cull house is very casual
