Re: Help! Restaurant for Rehearsal Dinner
I am having my rehearsal dinner at Ciao Baby on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa. If you've never been there, the food is phenomenal and the portions are HUGE! I got a really great deal there -- all their catering packages are on-line. I got the least expensive one (Bronze) and the manager threw in an extra entree option and switched up the dessert offerings for no charge. Cafe Symposio on Sunrise Highway is also good.....
I've been to Butera's on Sunrise Highway and Antonette's on Merrick Road, and thought both were just okay.

I'm looking in the same area as you since our church is St. Barnabas!! I was thinking about looking at either La Piazza or Piccolo's. I'd love to do it at Grillfire, but we have 30+ people, I don't think they'd be able to accomodate that many.
How many people are you inviting?

our church is St. Barnabas too! i have 30 people...i called La Piazza and i wanted to have my rehearsal dinner on a wednesday cuz the wedding is thursday and he said for the weekdays they have a 40 person minimum to use their catering room so La Piazza is out for me cuz i only have 30...but try calling them if you have 40! i thought of grillfire too but i thought the same thing you did.

Hey Stephanie- we are thinking of doing it at Piccolo's. They have a nice back room and give a lot for the money!

Piccolo's is great, and Ciao Baby was actually on the Food Network show Man Versus Food, so you know they have to be good!

Theres an AWESOME new restaurant in East Meadow called Sacramones. Went there for a private tasting for their opening. It was AMAZING and the space is so rustic and beautiful!!!!! Lots of packages too! Def worth checking out!
