I am looking to throw a surprise party and am interested in a good restaurant w a private room that will hold about 30 ppl.
I would like a spot with a more unique menu that isnt too overpriced. By that I mean, not your standard party menu w the same boring chicken/fish options.
Ideally, located in farmingdale/babylon area. Was thinking of bellisimo, but wasnt impressed w their catering menu. Would love mamas in copaigue, but they don't have a private room. Any other recommendations?

we had our engagement party at the Post Office Cafe in Babylon. they have a private room with a fireplace and your party's own bar. the food is fantastic and the service was outstanding! reasonably priced as well. definitely check it out!
Its a little far, but Lawson Pub in oceanside has a Private room - food is great. It isnt really a pub either, its more of a restaurant. My Uncle owns it and it was a pub when he started working there about 30 years ago - so he repopened it under the same name.
