is there any way to retrieve emails after you delete them? i accidentally deleted some very important emails

if you have hotmail, go into the trash can and they should be saved for up to a week.

you shouldn't have a problem. I just went to my trash can and it said that it empties it every day. i tried to change that option, but in the mean time, i went to help and got this info for you. Recover a deleted message Deleted messages are stored for a short time in the Trash Can, which is automatically emptied several times a week. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go to the Mail page. In the folders list, click Trash Can. Select the check box next to the message you want to recover. Click Put in Folder, and then click the folder where you want to move the message. Notes
If you do not see the Trash Can, your folders may be hidden. To show your folders, click in the upper-left corner. Messages that are automatically deleted when your account exceeds its storage limit cannot be recovered. Related topics Delete messages
