Here's the story. I ordered my dress 3 weeks ago and am absolutely in love with it. It is a traditional style that I would not have thaought I would like and after trying on many dresses I thought i would like I chose this one.
Here is the problem. In one of the pics my friend took of me in my dress at the salon i noticed another dress in the background. Now, I just want to try it on. How could this be? I felt so amzing the dress I ordered why would I want to try on another one?
Is there even a point in going to the salon and asking them to try this one on even thought i ordered my dress 3 weeks ago? Help, please! I feel absolutely crazy.

dont feel crazy- its only been 3 weeks...you can go try it on.. I actually changed my dress... and now i know for sure- that this is the dress... go and try it cuz if you dont... youll always think about it.... just be honest with the salon and tell them how you feel :)

Thanks for the advice. I am going to the salon tomorrow by myself. i like the 2nd dress I will bring my BM's back and hopefully the salon can do something for me. They must encounter this all the time.At least , that is what i will tell myself.

i picked out my gown and left the salon VERY happy with it....then i saw some pics of myself in the gown....i THOUGHT i looked amazing in it when i was in the salon...so then i kept thinking about the other gown i had tried on. i felt bad but i eventually decided to tell my mom that i felt like i needed to go back and try The Other Gown on aaaaaaaand THATS the one i ordered :) now i'm happy!
point is, if u dont go and try on The Other Gown u'll constantly be thinking about it and saying 'what if thats the one i should've gotten?' I DID!

Did you get the deposit back on the first dress your ordered? How long did you wait before you went back?

this actually happened to me as well. i had picked out a dress i never thought i would end up getting. i loved it but when i got home i realized that the salesperson never pulled all the dresses i had shown her that i wanted to try on. because of that i was doubting my choice and saying 'what if' a lot. when i went to pick out my bridesmaids dresses from the same place i ended up asking to try on more dresses as well as my dress to confirm my choice. i ended up not liking the other dresses and therefore felt more secure with my first choice. i definitely think you should go back and try on the other dress to bring you some peace of mind! good luck :)

i went back about a week after i put the deposit down on the first gown. we just transfered the 1st deposit onto the 2nd gown. we would've lost the $300 deposit had we not ordered a gown from the same store.

I switched my dress...I liked my first dress, but I just didn't LOVE it...I went on a man hunt for a dress I loved and found it...in a sample in another salon. I lost the $100 I put down on the original gown but it was TOTALLY worth it because I couldn't be happier with my dress!!
