Please help me settle something between me and my mom...After the ceremony, do the bride and groom ride with the BP to the reception hall or do the bride/groom have one limo and the BP another? Or is personal preference.

Just be careful who you hire.....if you look closely at people's reviews, the most complaints are about limo companies!!!! There are brides who have nothing negative to say about anything except their limo company!!!
We took a limo someplace a few months ago. Everything went very smoothly but we cannot remember the name of the company. I would use them for my wedding if FH can find the receipt!!!

to be considered if you're all going to a special place (like Old Westbury Gardens) for pictures, you might want to go in separate cars...take BP pictures first, then send them to cocktail hour..then you and F take pictures without BP standing around waiting...Just a thought

It is personal preference, and personally I prefer to be alone with my new husband in a Rolls!!!

It is completely up to you. A lot of times brides want that to have 'you time' without everyone around but since so much of our bp is our family and, of course, our closest friends, we are going to get an SUV and just party with everyone. I'm sure they'll understand if we get a kiss or two inside. Plus the ride to the reception is like an hour long!

Yeah, some people want to start partying it up right away with the party, or some want a little alone time after the 'i do's' and before the madness begins. We chose to be alone since we'll be surrounded by people for the rest of the evening. I think it will be nice to have a little privacy before pictures and all of the chaos...but it's whatever you decide - no right or wrong.

I think usually the bride and groom levae in whatever vehicle the bride and her dad came in, rolls royce, horse and buggy, whatever..but it's up to you..
I think it's a god diea to leave aone, you just got MARRIED, and you will want a few minutes alone to reflect and be together, it's the only time you'll get alone together until the very end of the night!

I't is personal choice me and FH have our own Rolls Royce and the bridal perty is in the Hummer.

Me, too! We're doing the same thing. But I agree, it's personal preference. My stepsister got a limo bus, and rode with the BP all day.

Personal preference...we wanted to be with our BP to celebrate as well! Leaving the reception...now that's a different story
