Help!!! Should I buy airline tickets now?

The price seems pretty good, but I still have 5 1/2 months till I fly and ppl say normally the good deals for plane tickets come out around 4 months before you fly...but what if they don't! lol....

Should I buy it now???? Should I wait???

I'm going from Ny to LA.

That is tricky. They sometimes start to come down but then sky rocket again. If it is a great price do it -- if it is so so then check every day.

You might find some good deals right now because people aren't traveling as much do the economy. It may come down more after the holidays.

hmmm....good point. The price went from 226 to 159 (one-way) so that's like an $80 difference...I guess that is so so??

i think the time you get the best deals is when flights are first released... at least thats what i heard... but now since oil prices have bee coming down, the flights may be as low as they are prob gonna get right now... they say when you are okay with a price, thats when you should book it... bc tomorrow it could end up doubling ....

$300 is average for that flight per person- check kayak.com they usually have info on the best fares

Yeah - I don't think you will get much lower than 300 round trip. . .. and if so - at the most it would be 50 so it might be worth it just to have them. .. are you only going 1-way?
