Help Slip Size?

Help Slip Size?

All my BMs need to wear slips under they dress. The lady at Davids Bridal told me to order the same size their dress is and yesterday another lady told me to order one size up from the dress...

Help.. anyone wearing a slip, did you order the same size slip as your dress or no?

The slips at david's bridal are $60, i'm looking around to see if i can find them cheaper..

The dress in your album I wore in my friends wedding we didn't have a slip

i've had the girls try it on with and without a slip, i like the fuller look so i'm having them wear a slip

In davids bridal I wore the same size when I bought a slip for an old wedding dress. I would have the girls try on the slips because I think my friend needed a size bigger for her wedding dress

Wow thats beautiful. Looks great! I don't think it really needs a slip looking at the picture...but I guess it depends what material it is.

If you really want a slip...I would order a size lower than the dress and here's why....The dress will most likely have to be taken in. Very rarely do they fit perfectly when they get it. Therefore, if the slip is the same size, that also may need to be taken in so it doesn't fall down! Plus, BM dresses run big and the sizes the girls ordered are most likely much bigger that then their normal size clothes. So if I ordered a size 6 dress...I would order at 4 slip. Thats just my opinion.
