I'm putting together a photo montage for the wedding reception and I'm having trouble with the song ideas to go with each segment.
1) The first segment is pictures of the bride growing up. So I need a song for this.
2) The second segment is pictures of the groom growing up. A song is needed for this.
3) The last segment is pictures of the two of us as a couple. I was thinking of 'These are the special times' by Celine Dion or the version sung by Christina Aguillera. I can't decide which version I like better. I've attached the links to the two versions for your opinions. But, I'd also like more choices to choose from for this segment.
I love the song in my daughters eyes and Isn't she lovely for the brides pics. Doesn't celine dion have a song about her son, or I like forever young by rod stewart. Sorry that's all I can think of.

I was just at a wedding where they had 'Wedding Day' (I think that's what its called) by Seal & Heidi Klum as one of their montage songs. It is such a beautiful song!!! you must listen to it! It would be a great song for the two of you together pics.

for the girl part you should use that song they play in bride wars.
i think it's very dependant on the personalities you guys have and the mood you want to set. like if your showing fun pics and want more of a youthful happy tone then 'girls just want to have fun' just as an example. also, if you are a certain nationality, maybe use a popular song of that culture.

What type of music do you guys like? For us, I'm using music that is special to us. For the bride side, I'm doing 'Golden' by Jill Scott. For the groom's side, I'm doing 'Rock Star' by Nickleback, For the couple side, I'm doing either 'Love of my Life' by Erykah Badu or 'Knocks Me off my Feet' by Stevie Wonder
Each song is special to me and my FH and they arent typical songs so people wont get bored ha! We might do a separate montage for the Moms and use 'Mama' from Boyz to Men! :)
