We aren't doing the traditional 1-10 table numbers. We are die hard yankee fans and thought of using places at yankee stadium as the table where they will sit.
I have no idea what to put on the table or what to make.
Im not very creative
Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Re: HELP! Table number holders
why not use bobble heads of the players and make a slit in the top of there heads to put the table name?
or just use regular stands and name each table after your favorite players.
or I'm going to a yankee game on the 14th, I can take pictures for you and you can use each picture as a different table with velum paper over it with a number!

I really like the bobble heads idea. If not you can create mini jerseys with your table numbers in the yankees pinstriped.

Check out GettinHutched's albums for some Yankee ideas. Her whole wedding is Yankee themed... she even has Bob Sheppard announcing her wedding party... I'm sure if you FM her she'd be more than happy to share ideas... Hurry up though, she's getting married this weekend!!!

Re: HELP! Table number holders
those are cute! but I think you could either do pictures of them with the word in the corner, or just write the word, both would look really cute!

Re: HELP! Table number holders
or maybe you can use sections like they do at the stadium and use the colored seating charts to show people where their section is (like when you buy tickets online)
ETA: like this, but a layout of your room, I don't know if this is too much work

Re: HELP! Table number holders
Two ideas: Get Baseballs and put the number on the baseball.
Or, to make it funny, superimpose your bodies into pictures with the yankees at press conferences, on the field, etc. etc. and frame the pictures, put a number off to the side of the photo for the table #.
Or sit at like Matsui's table, or Jeter's table, etc. etc.

Re: HELP! Table number holders
i love all the ideas! we were thinking about personalizing our wedding tables with the names of places that are significant to us - like all of our addresses growing up, our address now, our address in florida where our house will be built, and then some of our favorite places.....but who knows, its just a thought!
love the yankee ideas though

Re: HELP! Table number holders
Thats a cute idea too!! You could also do places you've been on dates, where you met, etc.

Re: HELP! Table number holders
Why not have the table numbers be the jersey numbers of famous yankees. You can make little jerseys to display them.
