Help! Template for escort cards?

Hi there
Does anyone have a word template for escort cards? I cannot get mine lined up correctly. I used the program version that the brand provided online, but some names are too low and others too high, and if i move one the other moves too. UGG. I need to give this to the reception hall today - stressing!

TIA!

Would it be easier to just print the names on regular cardstock and cut them? I can't imagine that there's a template for that - it's just one line. Maybe try a business card layout?

not sure if this will help, but i needed to make 2' x 2' squares for our placecards so i went into word and made columns and spaced them out at 2' increments according to the ruler feature across the top. then i designed one that was 2' from top to bottom according to the ruler feature on the side and copied and pasted. then i entered in the correct info. im sure there is an easier way to do it but it made sense to me and worked in the end.

you can also google for templates.

i think staples sells perforated placecards and may come with a template too

You could also look at the box your cards came in and see if there is anything that says it's compatible with one of the Avery standard sizes etc. (You will see a 4 digit number). Then in Word you can chose that size in the label wizard.

yes, that is the one I got - the one at staples. I used their template but it doesn't line up correctly. maybe i'm being anal, but it looks weird! Sigh.....

Speaking of google - if you go to offic.microsoft .com and type in 'wedding' it comes up with all sorts of templates - checklists, programs, invites, and just one table tent which isn't good for my thingy.

i'll figure something out....

thanks girls!
