I need help here. I just booked my ceremony time for 6pm and my reception is starting at 7pm.
The church is across the street for the hall.
My question is - am I leaving enough time in between. I want to minimize any dowtime.
I am taking my pics before the cermony.
How long does a typical ceremony last? Don't think I am doing a full mass. Does the cermony usually start on time? Do you think I should change my time to start earlier

If you dont do a full mass then the cermony is prob only 30 to 40 mintues but still you are cutting it close. The ceremony wont start EXACTLY on time..
I would make it a half hour earlier maybe

Re: Help Timeline!!
If its starts on time lets say 5:30 then what will people do in the meantime? Do think the hall can start the 5 hrs when we get there?

Re: Help Timeline!!
I think that's cutting it a little close. I totally get the not wanting to wait around for anything, but maybe can you give yourself an extra 1/2 hour? You probably won't start on time anyway. I guess you aren't doing a receiving line? I don't know, but I think I would rather have a little time to spare than maybe have guests missing the beginning of the cocktail hour you are paying for?
