Help - Timing Issues

I'm planning to have an outdoor ceremony on May 11, 2007, which is a friday, and am trying to figure out a good time to have it. Do you think it would be light enough out to have it at 6:30 p.m.?

Daylight savings is March 11, 2007 and the sunsets around 8 pm for the day of my wedding.

What do you think? Would it be too dark to have the ceremony outdoors at 6:30 pm?

daylight savings is march 11th?! why do i feel like i'm totally off in that i thought it was in june or something, lol i think i may be losing it
anyway, if the sunset is 8pm on your wedding day... i think you'd be okay to have an outdoor 6:30 ceremony, if it's going to be a short 30 minute or so ceremony. but i would suggest then seeing each other before the ceremony to get the majority of your pics out of the way, otherwise you will chance running out of time after the ceremony. i would say to do the bulk of your pics before the ceremony and then some pretty sunset ones right after.

If sunset is at 8pm a 6:30 ceremony would be fine. if you are really worried about getting pics in and stuff I would move it up a half hour to an hour.

I'm getting married the friday after you and having a 6:30 outdoor ceremony, then pics immediately following (7-8). We're not seeing each other before hand but we are getting some pictures out of the way before the ceremony, me with my family & bridal party, FH with his family and groomsman, etc.
