Help us pick an invitation!!! W/ POLL!

Last night, FH and I went through our invitation books, and we picked 2. They are very similar in price, so, that will not effect our decision. I like them both so much. I want something pretty plain, and in black and white.

My only concern with the second one is that people might think it's a black tie wedding, and, it isn't. Should I be concerned about that?

Also, is it safe to order invites from a catalog without ever seeing them in person? Should I be worried about this???

I like no. 1 b/c as soon as I saw no.2 I thought you were trying to convey that it IS a black tie wedding. Since its not and you don't want to give that idea I would definately do 1! Its very pretty!

Thanks! I kind of agree, I definitely don't want people to think it is black tie when it isn't! I just think it is so cute!

I like # 1 b/c it looks more formal (and I'm a plain Jane). I don't think # 2 will make people thing its black tie...its a pic of a bride and groom.

I would definitely order samples. I ordered samples from one co. and they were crappy quality. Some are free and others charge like $2.50. It's worth the $2.50 to find out now if they are crap quality.

I like #1!! I think it is more formal.

I don't think people will think #2 necessarily means it is black tie if it doesn't specify, but I like #1 anyway.

i personally pefer number 1 (i like the minimalist / elegancy), the bride & groom are cute but to me take some of the formalness away...

ok it's 16 to 2 here...and i am one of 2!!

i love #2 i think they are SO cute!! and i didn't think black tie at all when i looked at them, i just thought wedding.

i adore #2!!

i don't think people will assume it's a black tie affair if you use the second one.
i actually feel the second one is more casual but that's just my opinion.

i LOVE the first one. it's very elegant.

Now its 31 to 5....I think #2 is really cute, don't see it as black tie at all.
