Help! Veil Question

If you are wearing your veil underneath your hair/in the back.... like in the picture below How does the blusher work?? How do you attach it??

Re: Help! Veil Question

From what I have seen, the blusher is attached at the same place and then just pulled over.

Re: Help! Veil Question

There is a poicture somewhere on the board of a bride whose veil is like this---She had a white flower in her hair with a very elegant hair style. I can't find it anywhere, but it does look absolutely gorgeous!

Re: Help! Veil Question

Unfortunately I don't have a pic, but basically the blusher is the shortest layer (when hanging down the back). When you pull it forward, it just kind of rests on top of your hair and over your face. (Your hair stylist would be able to show you how this works.) You can see your hair and headpiece through the one layer of veil. Until you see it, you think it will look silly, but if you have someone help you place it properly, it can look really pretty. It makes it easier for you to leave the veil on for the whole reception if you do it this way.

That is how I plan to too. (still not sure if I want a blusher.)

I was watching wedding story today and the bride had her viel like that and just pulled it up and over, looked fine. (sorry no pics)

I'm doing it the same way...I tried it on that way when I ordered my veil and it looked perfect, despite my initial doubts.
