Hi Brides! I am torn between VYC and CLM. Any suggestions? Did anyone use the upstairs room at CLM - what did you think? If we do the downstairs room the cocktails won't start until 7pm and I am cocerned it will be dark in the end of Sept. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

I'm bias towards Venetian of course. You can find a lot of us VYC brides on this thread (below) you can either browse through questions we've asked or answered in it or you can just ask all us VYC bride questions!
They are both really nice venues. I was just going to say that you will probably catch a really nice sunset at 7 p.m. in September so that would make for some great pictures.

Thanks girls! I thought the sun would be completely gone by 7pm at the end of September?! I love VYC too - its very hard - they want a 175 guarantee and I am at about 150 or so...

Both are gorgeous sites!!! Our wedding at CLM was amazing... good luck in deciding b/t the two, I don't think you can go wrong!

I got married at CLM on October 14th of last year. My wedding ended at 6:30, and by the time we left it was dark. ETA: I just checked weather.com, and on 9/27 the sun will go down around 6:43 so if you get there early you will get some really nice dusk shots.
I loved CLM. I also have been to weddings at VYC which were gorgeous. Good luck deciding!

Thank you SO much!! We are now looking earlier in the month of September and its looking like CLM. Did anyone just choose the basic wedding package and if so was there enough food?
