Help W/ Invitiations and wording for private ceremony

Most invitations state 'join us for the exchange of our vows with reception to follow'....we are having a private ceremony with immediate family only. How do I put this on the invitations w/o actually saying it. I only want to state cocktail hour/reception starts at 1230....
THANKS

I would not mention 'private ceremony' on any invitation. I would be offended if I saw that. Something like - Please join us in celebrating the marriage of 'John' and 'Mary' at 'The Frog Hollow Inn'. Something to that effect-but you should NOT mention a private ceremony. Some people think if they are not special enough to be invited to the ceremony then why bother showing up for the party-even though most of us don't even want to go to the ceremony- we still like to be invited. It's a matter of Respect. So don't mention the ceremony. Especially if you are Irish or Italian.
