I am getting married in November. I just got my wedding dress and it's ivory and champagne. I wanted to do my bridesmaid dresses black. But I have no idea what color flowers to use. Does anyone have any ideaS?

Well, anything goes with black so that's a great starting point!
Would you rather use colors that you personally like or would you like to do a seasonal theme with the autumn colors?

I know we're getting married in october and we're not going with the whole 'season' look.. our colors are pink and green...
but with black you can go with very bright autumn colors, like reds, oranges and yellows, even golds and bronze's. same with your dress colors.

i got married this past nov, i had an ivory dress, my girls wore black dresses. we used all ivory flowers. pics in my album.

I love the roses and calla lillies that are colored like blood oranges and ruby red grapefruits...does that make any sense? Like those vibrant orange ones with the blood red/burgundy tips. That would look so awesome against the black.

I think white calla lilies, lilies, white roses/champagne roses, for the fillers- add holly berries or even pine cones, peacock feathers would look really amazing for a November wedding particularly with the color of your wedding dress.

Personally, I LOVE color. I would pick your favorite color and either do all the bouquets that color, or just yours in a color and the rest of the girls with ivory, or just the girls in the color and yours in ivory. Anything will look elegant and beautiful with that color scheme.

I wore champagne and my flowers were black bacara rose and dark burgundy calla lillies.
My girls carried vandela and sarhara roses and my matrons of honor had black bacara roses mixed into their boks.

My friend got married this past Nov. and had black BM dresses too. Their flowers were all fuschia (sp?) roses. They really popped. It looked so pretty. The bride's flowers were all white. She kind for incorporated the pink into the theme. The signature drink was pink and other little things, but not too much.
