Help !!! what do you think of this wedding gown ???
I am PLUS sized and i had a hard time looking for a gown I saw this at commack wedding center in the ivory,cafe... looked kinda old fashioned but reagal with the tiara, they didnt have it in white for me to see in person...
I look spanish/italian with long black hair, and dark eyes, loght olive skin...does the white look cheap??? does it look like it would be for an old bride or a second wedding??

Actually, I like it. It's pretty, and it gives some coverage for the arms and upper body, which we all like! I think with your complexion you could wear white or ivory. What kind of fabric is it? I think white looks cheap in certain fabrics (IMO). How did it look on?

It's gorgeous! It's simple and fancy, at the same time. Go with it - the white will look great. Tip - try netbride.com for a quote, lots of people find their dress cheaper there. .

BEAUTIFUL!! I tried that one on too!! Loved how it was and the back and the 2 pieces...but I just fell more in love with a different one...Alfred ANgelo 1575W....I am having a hard time posting pic....

I am spanish, long black hair and olive skin like you, and I choose an off white/ivory wedding instead of white. The white is too harsh and contrasting against our features. You may want to try a different dress from the same designer in white, so you can see how the color will look on you first.
Prasilla from Boston, also makes a very similar dress to this one, except that the lace layer goes all the way down to the floor, unlike this designer. It gives the illusion of the bride being taller. As where this gown, the lace cuts very short above the dress itself.
(Just my opinion, and sugesstion)

I tried that one on ... it WAS pretty fabulous. It was the Oleg Cassini version at David's but it was essentially the same. I am too light skinned and too short to pull it off well.
However - my MOH said I could wear the overdress by itself on the wedding night! (possible I guess?)
