HELP! what should i get my secretary today? I GOT HER A PRESENT!

Well today is secretary's day -- what should I get my secretary? I didn't remember until someone else reminded me today, so I can run out in about an hour and get something.

A gift certificate for $50? just some flowers? if you are someone's secretary, what would you like to get? help!

UPDATE - Thanks for your help! I got together with a partner here whom our secretary also assists, and we got her some flowers and a GC to Macy's!

I gave my secretary a gift certificate for a mani and a pedi. Flowers are nice but GC's are more useful. and BEFORE i get bashed, it IS the thought that counts and acknowledging that you appreciate her work in ANY WAY you choose is a nice gesture.

i like flowers so she can display on her desk or gift cert if she likes to shop.

i bring goodies in for my secretaries as they love cake and cookies and pastries

I got my assistant a giftbasket full of chocolates.

Usually I go for flowers and take her out to a nice restaurant.

As a secretary I say GC!! We can always use the extra help getting ourselves lunch or dinner or groceries or anything imaginable! The mani pedi gc is a fabulous idea!

Good to know. I get her a gift card for xmas and her birthday but always try not to do the same for Admin Day - I may change that next year!

Hmmm.... we got lunch. They offered to pay after the rest of us ordered. Then they went out to lunch themselves... They order us lunch a couple of times a week anyway so it wasn't anything extraordinary.

You guys seem like awesome bosses! I would have loved a GC or something!!
