HELP!!------What to do when a person RSVP no but sends money

I have a few guests who RSVP no but sent money (checks). What do I do.......

Do I send them a thank you right away, or do I wait until after the wedding to say thank you?

Do I sent them a thank you now and another one after the wedding (with our wedding photo thank you's)?

Do we deposit the checks now, or after the wedding?

Deposit the checks, send a small note of thanks now,. and then send a 'real' thank you with your pic later

we've been sending thank yous right away, but we haven't deposited the checks yet. Some were addressed to 'Mr. & Mrs. Lastname' so I couldn't deposit them, and I guess FH can? When he gets back to Vegas we're going to try to deposit them so they arent just sitting around in a drawer

This happened to me with all my no's too...I sent a thank you card, wrote in a book that I did and will send a picture thank you and a favor.

Wait, if they aren't there, they are supposed to get a favor????? I didn't know that...

Same thing I would do. I would also hold off on depositing the check till after the wedding but it is your preference.

We had a bunch of these... we only deposited checks after the wedding (some ppl even dated their check for the wedding date!) . At the wedding, we gave favors to ppl who were close to those not coming for them. Then, we'll be sending thank you's all at once to everyone later.
