My church has a lot of restrictions on what we can throw. We are not allowed: bird seed, rice, rose petals, etc...bascially anything that makes a mess and needs to be cleaned up. We don't want to do bubbles. I need some good ideas. Something different!

how about ribbon wands. you can make them or buy them online. The ribbons are your 'wedding colors' and some have bells on the end 'for good luck/fortune' The guests shake them at you as you leave. makes for a good picture.
how about butterflies? there are ups and downs to it though (posts on it)
can you do fake rose petals???

What about a sparkler exit. Okay you can't throw it, but they will nice in your pics!
Can you do the designer wedding rice? The one that melts when it rains and crushes when you step on it?

I never heard of designer wedding rice. where can i find it. i will do a search on it. We weren't thrilled about butterflies...i really hate any type of insect!!!:::: I am not sure if we are allowed to use fake rose petals, i have to call and find out. I like the ribbon wands. i would love to see a picture of someone who has used them.
