First define your view of cheap and then we can help

I got an Anne Klein pant suit at Loehman's for $100. You can also try Filene's Basement. Lord and Taylor also has deals sometimes.

Good Luck

$100 or less i guess...if i can get it cheaper, then ill get it cheaper cause its only an interview and i dont think that would be my everyday buisness attire(then i would want to spend more money)

I agree with checking Lord and Taylor, Filene's, T J Maxx, Marshalls and those types of stores.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the Kasper Outlet in Riverhead. I got a really nice navy crepe traditional interview suit for $99 and Kasper makes nice suits.

Try Ann Taylor Loft...they have great suits and everyday clothes for very reasonable prices.

I would try Kohl's. Don't get anything unless its on sale or you are desprite. Chances are it will be on sale next week.

Try Dress Barn. They are usually having sales and often have coupons for discounts in the paper.

I bought all my suits at Annie Sez. I dont know of too many around. I know there is one on Jericho Tpke. in Commack/Elwood area. I paid less that $100 on a siut, and paid $30 for a dress suit
It was on clearance
They also have nice dresses to buy for going to a wedding.

try the lord and taylor clearance ctr on hemp turnpike in levittown (in the far corner of the shopping center where cold stone is - its near bobs and pathmark!)- its kinda a hit or miss place but if you hit it right - its great!

also, macy's when they have there sales sometimes have suits for 50 bukcs or 60 bucks....

ny&co (my fav store b/c i can buy pants there) is good too when you hit a sale!

if i see any, i will let you know - good luck!

marshalls...tj maxx

also...do NOT wear a pants suit on an interview...unfortunatley no matter how far womens lib has come...this is a big no-no!!!

yabbobay-

I think a nice pants suit is fine for an interview- every job I've ever gotten has been wearing this brown suit I got at Anne Taylor (before the Loft dragged it downhill) and it was $500... that was 5 years ago and I STILL wear that suit... I say everyone should invest in a MAJOR suit that is timeless that you will have for 5 years of so- that's what I did...

But- with that said it also depends on the job- I will be having an interview for a marketing position @ an accounting firm & I'll probably wear a skirt suit to that...

I like the Limited for suits- they aren't 'cheap' but they are decent quality.

go to the outlets, wait for some big coupons .. and you can open up a credit card at some stores and get 10-15% off of your suit

Re: Help... where to get a cheap suit...

Maybe my mother has hammered that into my head...but I honestly would not take the chance with a pants suit...if the person is uber conservative, it might say something to them...
