Has anyone heard of 'The Touch'? Are they any good? What about Heart & Soul? Which one is better?

The Touch, if it is the same band, has been around forever. They played all the big bars and clubs on Long Island when I was like 21 or so. I'm all for hiring a band that plays together at clubs! Mine does and I love them (Niteflight--they have a great following). I'd love to hear The Touch again!

The Touch is more of a club band and I loved them. Heart and Soul is more for the wedding arena.
But I second Niteflight-I thought they were the best of both worlds.

This is secondhand info, but a good friend of mine went to a wedding that THe Touch played, and she said they were phenomenal. And, I value her taste in music.
I saw Heart and Soul at a showcase and they were very good.

using heart and soul and saw them at showcases, they are amazing! so much fun! everyone will be dancing because they are versatile

Like the other ladies said The Touch is more of a bar/club band. I've heard they cover alot of 80's music and are really good.
We booked Heart and Soul... Obviously, we loved them!

I'm right there w/ you...I was at the Dublin every Sun. night to hear them play & hang w/ the Mets
They were a great band. I hear Heart & Soul is awesome too. I'd definitely try to see them at a showcase.

I've seen about a thousand bands in my lifetime, coming from a musical family I could not avoid it.........but I was blown away with the band that I'm using for my wedding.....their name is Voices....when I first saw them I thought they were playing cd's that how good they were. The lead singer is the guy that had that song on the radio Sweet Caroline......well I just cant stop talking about them........thought I'd share that with you
