So I am going with a black and white themed wedding and am curious if its totally nuts for me to have my BM wear a black gown with a white sash..........i know white is only for the bride, but i am the bride and i dont mind lol
also, if anyone has any other ideas that would be great!!!! im trying to find something thats not just allll black!!

Black bridesmaids are great! I went to an evening wedding a few weeks ago and the bridesmaids looked fabulous in their black dresses (and it's nice that your bridal party can wear these dresses again to another event... often people spent hundreds of dollars on bridesmaids dresses they'll never wear again).
There's this Bill Levkoff dress that I'm in love with but I think it looks best in black. Maybe if you don't want to do while you can do champagne or something. It still has that black and white effect.
I think that will be gorgeous! The white sash will definitely bring it out. My brother and FSIL are getting married just a couple months before me and their theme is Black and White. BP is wearing all black dresses and will have white bouquets with a splash of red. I think that's going to be very classic.

I'm doing all black or Black w/Burgundy. I don't think there is anything wrong w/a white sash...I'd go for it!

My sister's wedding was black and white and all the bridesmaids, including myself, wore black BM dresses with a white sash. They were by Bill Levkoff. Here's a pic (I cant find the professional ones, though) - will keep looking:
