help with BM hair??

hey girls i need your opinions...for my wedding i am wearing my hair all up..im trying to be as accomodating as possible when it comes to my BMs..im not making them wear the same shoes or makeup etc, ...however, the only request i really had was to have the same kind of hair 'style' im not saying it all has to be the exact same, but i was going to tell them to all do it half up half down, whatever style of half up half down they wanted...this is b/c my hairs all up and i really really dont like the hair down, i saw pics of a friends wedding when all the hair was different and the down hair was not nice...now that just IMO i know it can be nice, just not my style...am i being unreasonable with my request ?b/c my MOH seems frustrated which is making me frustrated b/c im not being demanding with ANYTHING and this is really the only request i have had as of now...opinions are very much appreciated..

If you want there hair up, then up it should be. Keep in mind too, that when they dance etc, with their hair down, it's going to get all scraggly and stick to them and not look good in pictures during the reception.Plus they will be forever lifting their hair up and fanning themselves. Up is a classic look, and looks great in pictures. Good Luck, and stand your ground!!!! This is your day

exactly!!!!what i thought about the hair looking bad at end of night, thats why i compromised and said half up half down but if you wnat curls do curls if not etc, im not tryin to be a bridezilla but i see it coming

Since I wore my hair half up half down I wanted all the BMs to have their hair up... luckily most of them were understanding since it was easier on them for me to pick a style. However, my MOH wanted her hair to be different than everone elses so I gave her rhinestone barrettes to put in her hair to make her stand out more... Can that be an option?

It is your special day...and i think having them wear it half up half down is a great compromise (especially if they get to choose the style)! You should be the main focal point (and FH), so the BMs shouldn't be so concerned that they are being frustrated by it! Stand your ground, and everything will work out!!

i'm going to try to allow all of them to wear the hairstyle that fits them best... but thats just me.. its ur wedding so you should do what fits you best

thanks for your advice ladies, this is why i love this site i think ill sit down with all of them as time gets closer and discuss it and compromise smtg, noone else has really given me a problem...im not going to have them all have their hair the exact same but i will have them all do any style of half up half down that they want...just as i would do if i was their BM and they wanted it a certain way...
