help with bridesmaid hair!

im a bridesmaid this weekend, but cant afford to have my hair done and its too early to go to a hair salon so i want to try to do it myself,, any suggestions of what to do or pictures??
i have thin, little longer than shoulder length hair... i think im going to buy a curling iron today... thank you!!

How about curling your hair and putting it 1/2 up with a nice clip that will match the theme and colors of the wedding.
