help with Ceremony

HI All I have a problem with the ceremony location. Right now its set out my family's church. the church has a new minister whom I am not fond of and without going into details, I just found out that she has not been kind to my parents. I don't want this person to marry my FI and I, so I'm not sure what else to do. Having a different person perform the ceromony is not an option in this church. The reception hall is booked prior to our party. There is a small beach near the reception hall, so I'm thinking of having it there, the only problem is its early may and who knows what the weather will be. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you still want a church...

you can go to another in the area and tell them that your church is booked for that date and they may marry you there. Good luck!!!!!

If you still want a church...

Where are you located? You can call some neighboring Churches. I am sure one of the pastor/priests will help you. I agree, you should not be married by someone who has been unkind...no matter to who. Pastors/Priests are supposed to be supportive, and kind.

Historical chapel in Syosset? *NM*

HI - I am getting married at the Historical Chapel. Just to let you know it is very small. It is quaint and charming (that's why we picked it) - but it only fits about 120 people. For a flat fee, you get the place, an organist and a reverend. We paid $900 for all...I wanted to let you know all this, just in case it may help you. The best of luck!
