first off, how do you pronounce 'chignon'? can someone spell it phonetically? every time I go to say it... I murder it.
also... if you have pics of not-so-neat chignons, with bangs let me see them!! I can only find are very 'clean' ones like this...

you pronounce it chinyon almost as if the the N had a tilde in spanish...the GN is pronounced NY and the CH is like a SH so really sheenyon

I did a chignon for my wedding! My hair person put in a slight wave in the front so it didn't look like it was pulled back too severely. I LOVED it.
