Hi guys, first let me say that I'm so confuse about color. I am getting married the second weekend in October and I have no idea what colors I want to use. I like Mocha, Bordorux (sp) kinda like a wine or a deep rich red, and champagne color (well a little darker than champagne). How do I begin to choose a color, does this combination go? Does anyone have pics? I don't know please, please, please HELP!

This isn't quite dark red, but what about red and gold? I always thought that was very rich looking...and the gold is kind of an in between to the mocha and champagne.
To help me pick a wedding color scheme I started looking at BM's dresses to see if there was a color I loved since their dress color would be in all the pics. I was also able to order color swatches from the designer to help me choose.
After I found that color I looked for complimentary colors. I also thought of flowers I liked and what colors those come in.
You can also look at places like theknot.com and see their color theme weddings and see what colors you like together or see what color combinations girls here have used and look through their photos.
The colors you like all ready seem to go together, see if you can find other wedding items that would look nice with those colors, like the dresses and flowers and use them.

I'm in the beginning of October, and I was having similar issues. (I actually think I still am!)
I'm pretty much set on this Bridesmaids dress so we're probably going with a champagne and gold theme. I will want an additional color for effect, so I'm either going with copper or garnet.
I started out with brown but then realized that I didn't want the guys in black and the girls in brown, and the guys didn't want to do khaki tuxes and I didn't want them in brown.
When you find the color of the BM dress you like, you'll def. have a better idea on color!!
