Help with colors

Help with colors

I am doing ivory black and pale pink. I was wondering if it would look too much like a sweet 16, or would it be elegant if I had the ivory table cloth on the bottom and the black one on the top. My centerpieces are 3 cylinders on each table with ivory floating candles and pale pink rose petals sprinkled around. What do you think, can the top table cloth be black? Sorry so wordy, TIA!

It is neutral, and there are big windows that you can see the harbour and boats from.

I think it could work depending on the room and time of day. I personally don't know if I would want that for a daytime affair, or in a room with windows letting in daylight. If it was a dimly lit room or evening, might work better, and be more subtle.

It will be dimly lit, and the reception will start at 8. There are big windows but since it is night time there wont be a lot of outside light coming in.

I'd consider doing the white/ivory table cloth on top. To me, that's what makes it more wedding than Sweet 16.

I think it might be too dark for an evening wedding.. why dont you reverse and put the black on the bottom and do either ivory on top or pale pink ... pink and black would look great cause it sounds like your flowers are mostly ivory
