Im trying to decide my color scheme for decor and bridesmaid dresses....I really love a pool blue color or even a royal blue, but I cant decide what colors to go with it. I want my MOH's to wear a diff color then my bridesmaids but it's hard to figure out what would look good.
Any ideas for flower colors also...I dont really like the idea of blue flowers and white is too simple I think for me.
Any color scheme help would be great
Even ideas other than the blues. I am getting married in August...any other August bride color suggestions?

I'm in August and doing the Tiffany blue/ivory w/ silver accents theme. . My men are wearing ivory tuxes with the blue ties and cummabunds. My ladies are wearing the blue dresses with silver clutches and sandals. The flowers/centerpieces will be ivory b/c the tablecloths at the RH will be blue.
If you do a search on google, you will find the most beautiful blues and colors to go with. I've seen the tiffany blue with pink, or yellow with green, orange and brown, or orange and yellow. Think about the RH also, that helps. HTH

there are soo many colors that go with bright blues..... pinks, oranges, yellows....you really can't go wrong.....its whatever you like
We did navy blue dresses with purple ,indigo flowers...pics in my album!

I was thinking of those colors as well. I was thinking of pink flowers and silver accents on the tables!
I went to home depot and looked at all the color samples and tried to mix and match them.

put your MOH in a darker rich pool and you BM's in a lighter pool blue...then the flowers do shades of pinks and ivories and creams....it will look very soft and romantic

I am an August bride my colors are sage green for my bm's with a black sash belt and my moh's are the opposite a black dress with a green sash belt.

Originally, I had a summer date and had chocolate, sage, and linen as my colors. You could easily swap our sage for green. It's very summery, but earthy, too - very pretty.
I love blue, but generally don't like blue flowers either, BUT have you checked out blue hydrangea? It's very pretty, and in season for your wedding. I've seen some gorgeous hydrangea bouquets, mixed with other flowers OR just alone.

THose colors of blue (pool, royal, even turquoise) you mentioned also look nice with green and purple - think of peacock feathers. The deep jewel tones would look really nice altogether.
