I have a ball gown and am wondering if I should go with a full crinoline or a-line. I've tried my dress on w/the full one and like the way it looks..but am worried about the day of and being too 'poofy'. Do you think an A-line would look ok? I have pics of my dress in my albums..help me please! :)

Re: HELP WITH CRINOLINE PLEASE!
I had a ball gown dress and I opted for a mega full crinoline which I got on ebay (no hoops, just crinoline). It was perfect for me because I really wanted the full skirt. I like the poofy look. The best thing about it is that you actually take some of the crinoline out by physically cutting it out or just ironing it really flat so it's not quite as poofy. It's up to you. If you get the a-line and decide it's not enough poof, ask your bridal salon to add some crinoline to it for you. They'll probably charge you an arm and a leg for it which would make it more reasonable to go with the full skirt and take away from it if you need to.

The full slip should be used for your ball gown, otherwise it won't get the full effect of a ball gown if you used an A-Line....so definitely try it with the full slip
