Help with direction cards

For those of you that did your own, did you print them on card stock or is regular paper okay?

And what directions did you include?
I am thinking:
to the RH (ceremony will be there)
to RH from hotel
to hotel from RH

We had a map designed for us and we wrote text directions that went on the opposite side. We printed them on blank index card stock that we bought at staples.

Our directions were to the church. We also included separate direction cards to the reception hall and to the hotel. Church, hall and hotel are near the LIE, so, for us, there wasn't a need to give specific directions between sites.
