Where do you get the directions for the invitations? I have to include directions for the church, hotels, & CHCC. How should I do this? Type it up and print copies??

Re: Help with directions for invitations
the hall and hotels probably have cards for you to insert. The only ones you might have to do is for the church (at least that's what I'm doing). I just bought ecru cards to match my invites and I'm going to type them off and print them out. I don't know how well it will work but I'll let you know!

Re: Help with directions for invitations
I'm printing the directions to the hotel on one side and the directions to the reception hall on the other side of a post card sized card. I am going to have them printed on cardstock that match my invites.

If your vendors don't supply them. You can always buy the matching card stock closest to your invitation and have a printer thermograph print it. That's what I am going to do with my reception hall directions.

The hotel and reception site gave me cards to use.

If you are the creative type, you can do them yourself. Otherwise, having them printed shouldn't be too bad

Did you do that with your invitations or could it be done somewhere else?

Re: Help with directions for invitations
This part is so annoying. Does everthing have to match? Because my WM direction cards, hotel cards, and church cards are all so different. But I can't see spending the extra money to make them all the same. What should I do? And for brides running them through the printer themselves, how are you doing that? and where do you buy the cardstock?

Re: Help with directions for invitations
The CHCC will give you little direction cards. Just go to the front desk and ask for as many as you need. They will also give you some to take for the day of the wedding. When you are doing the receiving line after the ceremony/mass, you can have the best man pass them out to anyone who asks, 'so how do you get to the CHCC?'
I would imagine the hotel would have direction cards as well. Just ask.
As far as the church, mine did not offer them so I put the address on the invite and if someone does not know where it is, they can go to Mapquest or call me.

Re: Help with directions for invitations
Thanks everyone. I am having direction cards sent to me from CHCC & the hotels. I think I'll leave the church directions out. I'm not going to stress over this! I was considering having directions/maps made...but I really don't want to spend the money.
