Flower amounts depend on the size of the balls that you choose to use. I'm not doing real flowers but silk. Starting project tomorrow afternoon, will keep you posted on how it went.

I used 5 inch balls and ended up using about 50 carnations per ball. A lot more than I expected. Next two will be 3 inch balls, we'll see.

yea, i'm not sure what size ball to start out with. one FG will be 8 the other 5, so i'm not sure if they should be the same size or different![]()

Make the 8 year old feel special give her at least an inch bigger. Starting with a 5 inch foam is pretty big.
