Help with DIY Memory Candles...

I want to make my own 'Memory Candles'. I went to AC Moore, Michaels and Jo Anne's. I can not find candles. What types are you using? Also, are you putting the paper over the candle it's self or are you putting the candle inside a holder and wrapping the paper around that.

I hope this makes sense.

I bought a regular pillar candle. Then I designed what I wanted and printed it on vellum. I used glue dots to glue the vellum to the candle and then I used ribbon to cover the edgge of the vellum all the way around the candle. HTH
