Help with DIY purses?

I had ordered a yard of BM dress fabric to get a better idea of color and would like to use the fabric to make matching purses for my BMs. I was thinking the best way to do this would be to buy plain cheap clutches (maybe flap-over style) and have them covered in the fabric (either by me, a family member with lots of sewing experience or professionally). Any ideas where I could find such clutches (ideally under $15 each)

I have 4 BMs and 1 MOH. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I'm also considering making a wristlet instead and using interfacing to stiffen the fabric (tissue taffeta) -- thoughts?
