Help with DJ Companies
This seems to be so hard!!! I met with 4 DJ's this week- Tommy Tunes, NY Ultimate Entertainment, Long Island Sounds, and Starlight Express.
I also saw Tommy Tunes at a showcase- I felt they were a little to involved and hiper for me, but that may have just been cause it was a showcase- the person I thought would be best for me from that company was Dan as an MC. I met with Frank in the office and I did not like his style although he is a real nice guy.
Long Island Sounds had an impressive studio, but I only saw one MC demo and he was a little to 'Tony Soprano' for me.
Starlight has very impressive equipment- my only concern is that they pride themselves on being involved in the club scene and I am not very 'clubby'- I am not sure if my wedding would be to clubby.
NY Ultimate Entertainment seemed to be very what you see is what you get- they seemed okay.
This is the hardest decision. Has anyone felt the same as me and if so who did you go with? I want an MC who is going to be involved if necessary, but step back if not needed. I like bar music, oldiies, and fun songs that everyone knows- definitely do not want club type music. ANy help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I booked with DUET today- one thing done! Has anyone used them for video? I loved the pics but have heard mixed things about the video- I had a friend who had a bad experience, but they did compensate her. Those of you who have had Alberto- did you have to pay more for him? My quote incresed by $300 to have Alberto? Thanks!!!
