Help with dress situation

I am offically losing it and feel the need to keep on looking at more wedding dresses.. this is the one I have so far..

This is the one I am thinknig of having made:

the wedding is gonig to have an art novueau 1920s-30s theme..
What do you girls think?

Um I think it has to do with the fact myhips are wide.. I am worried that its going to show to much.. ( I could be overthinking it) but then again.. I really like the back of the second dress.

first of all, i don't think you're hips are wide. you look lovely in the dress. i really like the twist in the straps.

i do also understand your liking the second dress. i think it's very pretty.

have you tried on the second dress?

btw, i'll be sending you that pic i promised as soon as i can figure out how to email myself a cell phone picture

no :( ididn't try it on.. I have tried on one similar to it..
I think i am being impulsive.. .. I think the train in the back of the second dress is calling me..
THe problem is alot of dress stores on long island do not have dresses like this that I saw..

I think the first one looks lovely...and you're hips don't look big at all!

The second one is pretty, but if you're worried about your hips that one might be worse b/c it goes in at the knee and that may make your hips look wider than if it just went straight down from your hips to the floor. I think you should def. try on the second dress before you have it made. I do agree about the back though, it is very lovely.

the train is very pretty on the second dress.

if you decide to have it made, i've heard a few girls use a specific seamstress who can do miracles.

i can get the info from one of the girls, if you're interested. that is, if you don't already have someone.

if you want to see some of her work... kittythestray has pictures in one of her albums of a before/after situation with her dress.

I really like the first one! The straps are really unique. The second is pretty but I like how the first one looks on you

I totally agree. Her seamstress did 'miracles' just a few days before her wedding.

I like the first one and I think that if you really like the second one you should just have the first one altered. Your hips do not look big at all. I have big hips and I hate them so the first thing I always do is look at other people's hips. When I saw you in your dress I looked at your hips and I noticed that they are perfect. I wish I could have your hips. You have a great figure and the first dress really shows it off!
